Entrepreneurship World Cup:
JYSE in final

Selected among 100’000 startups, JYSE will represent France at the Entrepreneurship World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
To be won, millions of dollars in cash prizes and meetings with the most important international investors.

It all started with a simple application for the European stage of the competition, at the Vivatech trade show last May. After a selection on record and a 3 minutes pitch, the international jury was convinced by the potential of the startup. Winning a prize of 5’000 €, JYSE was able to reach the next step and enter the Global Entrepreneurship Network international accelerator.

This summer, after an intensive 6-week interactive training period, the accelerator selected the program’s top 100 startups, including JYSE, to compete in the final of the competition.

The final rounds of the event will take place from November 12th until the 14th, 2019 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during the Misk Global Forum. A bootcamp will take place from Nov. 8 until 11  at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia.

A great opportunity for JYSE to refine its pitch of their software solution to build web applications for the Industry 4.0 and IoT, without writing a single line of code.

Saudi Arabia opening up

As part of its opening-up to the international, Saudi Arabia multiplies its efforts. After the permission given to women over 21 years old to obtain a passport and travel abroad without being accompanied by a man, then the creation of a tourist visa, the Misk forum looks more international than ever. Supported by the Misk Foundation of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, the forum and the Entrepreneurship World Cup finals, are the opportunity for Saudi Arabia to prepare their future and roll out their “Vision 2030” plan. This plan aims to diversify the Saudi economy currently largely dependent on oil. The Misk forum is therefore part of the education element and the modernization of the economy with the will to bring out an ecosystem of Saudis startups.

Currently in a fundraising phase, this media exposure will be an accelerator for the sales development and international ambitions of the startup. Undoubtely “a life-changing experience” as affirmed by the organizers of the competition.
